Frequently asked questions

Are you a law firm or a notary's office?

Mahavonjy Services is a consulting and support firm. Our legal advisors analyze your situation, prepare the paperwork and follow up on the procedures. When a notarial deed or representation in court is needed, we work with partner notaries and lawyers, and we remain your single point of contact.

How much does your support cost?

The first 30-minute call is free: we tell you what's possible, how long it will take and what it will cost. The in-depth consultation, in person in Antananarivo or by video call, is paid, and you're told the price in advance. For full case support, you receive a written quote that lists our partners' fees separately. Nothing goes ahead without your agreement, and you're welcome to make us your own proposal.

I live abroad. Can I do everything remotely?

Yes, in the vast majority of cases. We talk by video call or phone, you send us your scanned documents, and if a signature is needed in Madagascar, we prepare a power of attorney that you have legalized where you live.

Do you handle emergencies?

Yes, that's what we're here for. You can message us on WhatsApp 24/7 and book a free call any day, sometimes within hours. The more details you give in your first message, the faster we can act.

How is my call or appointment confirmed?

At the end of the questionnaire, you send your request on WhatsApp: the message is already written, with your situation and the time slot you chose. We reply on WhatsApp to confirm, and for an in-person appointment, we suggest a date and a place in Antananarivo.

How long does a procedure take?

It depends on the case and the authority involved. We give you an honest estimate from the first appointment, then keep you informed at every step, including when things stall.

How do you get a stalled case moving?

Through official channels only: we find out where the file is, identify the missing document or signature, follow up in writing with the offices concerned and, if needed, file an appeal. We never make informal payments.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. The information and documents you entrust to us are used only to handle your case. They are shared only with the professionals working on it, and only with your consent.

Do you work outside Antananarivo?

Yes. We handle cases in other regions, either by traveling there or through our network of local correspondents.

What should I prepare before the appointment?

Gather whatever documents you have, even if incomplete or damaged: certificates, contracts, letters you've received, payment receipts. Clear photos are enough to get started. If you have nothing, that's not a problem: finding the right documents is part of our job.

Your question isn't here? Ask us.

3 minutes to describe what's stuck, then a free 30-minute call. In an emergency, we answer on WhatsApp 24/7.
